This week has been exceptional for me in terms of exercise and movement. It has also been pretty good as far as eating goes. While I did have some splurges, I didn’t overdo anything and I’m actually feeling pretty good about myself for it.
I’m especially proud of my movement this week. I was well above the 10,000 step mark each and every day. I was out walking and soaking up the sunshine first thing in the morning, and I loved every minute of it.
After the walks, I came home and did my hand weights. That really added to my feeling better about myself and what I am doing. Sure, it may take a long time for those results to become obvious to anyone around me… But the result in how I feel about myself has been nearly instant and I’m happy.
I did eat out a couple times this week. Once on date night with my husband and another time having dinner out with our neighbors. I enjoyed the company and the food, but I didn’t overeat on either occasion. And with the amount of movement that I got this week, I felt ok about it all. Calories were burned in record numbers!
I’m definitely keeping myself focused on the goals I have and I am staying consistent. I just need to keep it up… no stopping.
