More of God’s Creation

There is so much beauty surrounding us, yet so many of us miss it.  We spend more time looking at screens than we do looking at the world around us.  I am determined to see more of the natural beauty and spend less time looking at a device.

These flowers were growing along a pathway I walked in our town.  There were so many of them that I couldn’t even count.  It was beautiful!

This is the Tongue River.  While out on a family drive, I spotted a turnout for a recreational area so we pulled over.  The grass had grown thick and tall, and the mosquitoes were in full attack mode, but for a brief time we just stood there soaking in the beauty.

For a moment, it was peaceful.  The noise of the world faded into the background, and all I could hear were the whispers of Holy Spirit saying, “This is what matters.”
