It’s been a little over a year since starting, and every day I am becoming more and more of a minimalist. Since I began this journey, I have been asked numerous questions about it by friends and family both on and offline. People are curious about what I am doing and why. And some people just think I’ve gone a little nuts, but that’s ok. I know I haven’t. I’ve just seen a different way to live and embraced it.
I thought it would be interesting to start a weekly series about minimalism as it relates to me and my family. At this point, I have ten weeks of posts planned out to keep this series going. That’s a good amount, and I think it will lay a great foundation. I’m pretty sure the weeks will extend beyond that, though, because there is always so much to say. After all, life is always changing!
I guess the first thing to do is to define minimalism.
Minimalism looks different for each person embracing it. There are no set rules or regulations. No one is out there saying you must not have this or that.
