Day thirteen of the NO SPEND month is the day we organize the bathroom.
No, you don’t have to clean the bathroom again. That is, unless you really want to or need to. Your bathroom should be clean already. But organized and clean are two very different things.
For many people the bathroom is a jumbled mess. Towels thrown about, toilet paper in weird places, bottles of stuff on the counters and under the sink, hair accessories filling every drawer, medication and other bathroom related products all around… let’s face it, bathrooms can be disasters.
But they don’t have to be.
Organizing a bathroom is not that difficult. And, as I’m sure you have guessed based on who I am, our bathrooms are already organized.
I don’t do clutter well, and that goes for bathroom clutter just as much as any other clutter.
Because we’ve adopted a more minimalist lifestyle, we don’t have tons of extra stuff. For instance, many people have stacks and stacks of towels to deal with, while we just have two towels per person. Yep, that’s it.
And… I don’t wear makeup which means I never have to deal with that type of clutter.
So I’ll give you the rundown on the basics of our bathroom organization and maybe you’ll get some ideas that will help you get yours looking spiffy.
